Wyatt & Randi met in x-ray school at Our Lady of the Lake College. In the Fall after they graduated, they finally hung out with mutual friends for an LSU game. “A few weeks later, we had our first official “date” when he invited me to ride four wheelers with his friends. It was a beautiful day and we had a blast”. A few LSU games, bonfires, and four wheeler dates later, a new found love began to unfold!
They dated 3 years before Wyatt proposed on the morning of April 19, 2017. The morning started off a little different than usual, “that should have been my first clue!”. After their coffee and getting ready for the day, Wyatt was ready to pop the question! “A few minutes later, I heard him say “hey, come see for a second.” I walked out and he was on his knee with the most beautiful ring that he had picked out for me. I couldn’t believe this was really happening!” “His proposal was absolutely perfect and I still get butterflies thinking about it”
Picture Perfect Location
The Plantation, the home of a close family friend, was the ultimate location for Randi and Wyatt to document their love. “A swing under the massive oaks in the front of the plantation, the open fields, mossy trees, and pond in the back were breathtaking” Wyatt’s one request was to incorporate his beloved truck and Randi wanted to include it in some of the pictures! “Our pictures came out perfect! We had such a great time and I’m so glad we chose this location. We will cherish these pictures and memories forever”
Their Special Day
Randi and Wyatt will be wed this coming Spring at St. Joseph Church in Paulina, La. and they couldn’t be more excited! The church holds a special place in Randi’s heart as this is the same church she attended as a child and still attends to this day. “I can’t wait to see all of our planning in action and to finally have this amazing man change roles yet again in my life. From a friend to boyfriend to fiancè and finally, my husband. We can’t wait to begin this new chapter of our lives and celebrate with our friends and family!”
